BEFORE CAIAPHAS & SANHEDRIN
Trial Before Caiaphas – Current Jewish High Priest, and the Sanhedrin Court.
The chief priests, the scribes, the elders and the entire Sanhedrin gathered at the court to seek for witnesses so that they could proceed with their singular plan of ending the menace called Jesus.
The witnesses came forward, but Jesus refused to say anything in defence of Himself.
At the peak of it, The High Priest Caiaphas stood up and said to Him: “I charge You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God.” Matthew 26: 63.
And when Jesus said Yes, Caiaphas literally tore his cloth and shouted Blasphemy!
The decision at that point was: He served to die!
Then the abuse started. Jesus was physically assaulted; they covered His eyes with a blindfold while hitting Him and bloodied by the abuse.
Watch out for the final verdict by religious leaders under the cloak of darkness.
